Mr. Ford joined NovoSci in 2002 as Vice President Operations, bringing over 21 years of successful management experience in the development and production of medical devices.

From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Ford was Vice President Operations and later, Chief Operating Officer of SOUNDTEC, Inc., a start-up medical device company that developed an FDA approved, implantable middle ear hearing system for moderate to moderately severe hearing loss.

From 1992 to 1999, Mr. Ford was Vice President of Manufacturing for Cyberonics, Inc.(NasdaqGM:CYBX), a medical device company that developed and commercialized the first implantable neurostimulator for a range of neurological disorders. During his tenure with Cyberonics, Mr. Ford implemented the operations that successfully brought this unique device from development stage to a viable commercial product.

From 1987 to 1992, Mr. Ford served as the Manufacturing Manager and General Manager for McGaw, Inc., a leading manufacturer of IV therapy equipment and solutions. Mr. Ford was responsible for establishing the facilities, processes and infrastructure necessary to develop and commercialize two state-of-the-art IV infusion systems.

From 1983 to 1987, Mr. Ford served as the Director of Manufacturing for Quest Medical, Inc., a medical device company focused on the development of a new drug infusion technology. Quest was acquired by McGaw, Inc. in 1987.

From 1974 to 1983, Mr. Ford served in various engineering and operations roles for the aerospace industry.

Mr. Ford is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a BS in Engineering Technology and The University of Texas at Arlington with an AS in Engineering Technology.
